CASE STUDY ONE
Lucknam Park Hotel, Colerne
Lucknam Park is a wonderful, luxury hotel just outside Bath. With over 40 bedrooms that are always busy, and such a tranquil setting, it was important that the installation was quick and as unobtrusive as possible.
This meant that it was a job for the EMS Radio system. The entire system was coded prior to our arrival to decrease our time on site. Our engineers were as discreet as possible, the detectors in the bedrooms were installed at the same time as room service was making their rounds. This enabled all rooms to remain in use and the guests to be undisturbed.
The sounders are integral to the smoke detectors so the system is also aesthetically pleasing.
The use of a hard wired system would have cost the customer many thousands in redecoration and lost revenue, this made the benefits of the EMS Radio system very valuable. The system was installed in 2008 and has demonstrated excellent reliability during this time.
Lucknam Park has been dealing with Martyn and the team at The Fire Alarm Consultancy for many years now. Their service day and night is exceptional, no issue is too big or small. You call at 3am and they are very responsive. Several years ago we installed a new wireless detection system throughout the hotel. It was the best thing we could have done. The interruption to business was minimal with no need to have rooms in the hotel out of order for days. The system itself is very reliable and has meant that we are able to identify and action issues immediately anywhere in the hotel.
